Terms of Use

Last updated: May 19, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Fathom, a mobile puzzle game operated by Fabulist. By downloading or using Fathom, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

Fabulist grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Fathom for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except where applicable law gives you a right that cannot be waived.

2. Apple terms

If you download Fathom from the App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's app license rules, including Apple's minimum terms for licensed applications and any applicable App Store terms.

3. Purchases

Fathom offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase, Fathom Pro, to unlock the full game. Fathom does not sell subscriptions, consumable currency, or ads. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and entitlement management is handled by RevenueCat.

Refund requests are handled by the store where the purchase was made. Fabulist cannot directly issue App Store or Google Play refunds, but support can help with restore and entitlement questions.

4. Accounts and progress

Fathom can be played with an anonymous Firebase player. Optional Apple or Google sign-in may be available in Settings for account recovery or cross-device sync. You are responsible for access to any third-party account you choose to link.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Intellectual property

Fathom, including its puzzles, interface, text, artwork, sounds, code, and generated puzzle content, is owned by Fabulist or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

7. Availability and changes

Fathom is provided as a live software product. Features, content, prices, and services may change over time. Fabulist may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new last updated date.

8. Disclaimer

Fathom is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Fabulist does not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system version.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fabulist will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Fathom.
